Okay my apologies for the cheesy pun, couldn’t help myself.
Lets get to the point, these boots are FAB! I have them in brown and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE them! They slip on so smoothly, they are SO comfortable to walk and be in.
These boots look great with jeans, a skirt, (short or long, in fact I can’t wait to pair them up with some sweater tights!) they just compliment your outfit so nicely. They have a lovely rustic and timeless appeal to them.
Overall I really just dig the “riding” boot look.
They fall right at my knee, (I’m 5′6) fit true to size (I wear a 10M) and they are very well made. I wore these boots around my house the night I got them and did not want to take them off.
This is why Autumn is even more wonderful, you get to showcase boots like these! Hard to imagine anyone being dissapointed with these babies!
I really wanted these boots after seeing a random girl on the streets wearing them, and then seeing my coworker a few days later with the same boots! They both bought the cognac color, which is the color I bought, and the boots are very comfortable, true to size, and super cute and stylish! The only reason I gave these boots four stars instead of five is because of the quality of the leather. The leather is rather thin and stiff/crumbly like brown packaging paper, not smooth and buttery. But what did you expect for the price? I would not pay more than $120 for these. In fact, I’d say these boots are really worth about $80 max. I only bought these and ignored the quality because the style is too adorable. I haven’t seen the boots in black but my advice when buying boots with average-poor quality leather is to not buy black. It’s much easier (in my opinion) to tell good quality leather from bad quality when it’s black leather. Brown is a more casual look and more forgiving to scratches and inconsistencies.
These boots are a dream! I bought them about a month ago, have paired them with many outfits and receive compliments each and every time.
I also LOVE that the buckle at the calf can tighten or loosen the boot, I have a larger, muscular calf and can sometimes run into issues of boots being too snug on my calves. no so with these!
As for the person who has complained about the quality and had a scuffing issue, I do not agree! I’ve worn them to work quite a few times, lifting and arranging furniture and have yet to see a scuff or scratch.
Do yourself a favor and pick up a pair… you won’t be sorry
